Keck Foundation Grants $62 Million in 2020 Including
$16 Million for COVID-19 Research and Community Needs in Southern California

The W. M. Keck Foundation has made $16 million in grants for COVID-19 research and emergency relief efforts to USC, UCLA and a host of non-profit groups that are on the front lines fighting the virus in Southern California.

In 2021, the Keck Foundation plans to continue its nationwide science and engineering and medical research programs and to support the Los Angeles arts and culture, education, health and community service projects it regularly funds.  Visit our grant abstracts for more on our recent funding.

A grant made in 2000 to support a Center for Chemical Genomics to use synthetic organic chemistry and high-throughput screening techniques to study biologically significant molecules continues to pay scientific dividends today.
